I made you a savory, spicy feta dip blended up to creamy perfection. Get your crackers and veggies ready for this perfect, easy snack or appetizer.
This spicy roasted red pepper feta dip is inspired by traditional Greek htipiti, and WOW, the flavors are out-of-this-world delicious. For dinners lately, I’ve been obsessed with creating hearty bowls with protein, veggies, a yummy grain, and a unique sauce to pull it all together. This dip is actually the base of my super satisfying, Spiced Mediterranean Chicken Bowls!
Add this to your snack rotation, serve it up as an easy appetizer the next time you’re hosting, or spread it on a sandwich or wrap to give it extra flavor. Anyway you enjoy this dip or spread, I guarantee you’ll LOVE it.

Ingredients in this spicy red pepper feta dip
As I mentioned, this creamy dip requires just 6 simple ingredients, but it’s absolutely bursting with flavor. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Feta: I love using feta cheese as the base for dip recipes because it adds plenty of salty, savory flavor.
- Roasted red peppers: the key ingredient? A jar of roasted red bell peppers! We’re not roasting our own bell pepper for this recipe. You can typically find these jars near the artichokes, olives, etc. Feel free to use regular or fire-roasted.
- Garlic: you’ll need a clove of fresh garlic for savory flavor.
- Lemon juice: add the perfect amount of brightness with a little lemon juice or red wine vinegar.
- Olive oil: a touch of olive oil helps blend everything together so it’s nice and smooth.
- Red pepper flakes: add a delicious kick of heat with red pepper flakes! See below for more ways to up the spice level.

Can I make it dairy-free?
The feta cheese base is really what makes this dip, but you can try subbing dairy-free feta crumbles if you can find them! I haven’t tested it, so I’m not 100% certain on the flavor, but let me know in the comments if you do.

Choose your spice level
If you don’t have red pepper flakes, try blending in a jalapeño or a spicy red pepper to give the dip a lovely kick of heat!
Alternatively, if you’re serving kiddos or are sensitive to spice, simply omit the red pepper flakes.
